To reduce the risk of explosion, do not use the system in the presence of anesthetic substances
that can catch fire if exposed to an existing fire or an electrical spark.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of electric shock or burns, do not use the system in conjunction with
high‑frequency surgical equipment.
WARNING
Do not use accessories, transducers, or cables other than those specified or provided by
Verathon. Use of other such devices may cause this system to emit excessive electromagnetic
energy or to pick up unwanted electromagnetic signals or noise from its surroundings. These
malfunctions may cause improper operation, procedure delays, or both.
WARNING
Portable radio frequency communications equipment (including peripherals such as antenna
cables and external antennas) may not be used within 30 cm (12 inches) of any part of the
BladderScan system, including cables that Verathon specifies or provides for use with the
system. If this distance is not maintained, performance of the system may be degraded and
image display may be compromised.
WARNING
Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be avoided because
it could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, this equipment and the other
equipment should be observed to verify that they are operating normally.
