ATA #3 IP Address
Dial plans need to be prepared for the first ATAs (the BGM/Paging ones will be
covered later).
For Line 1 (Speech) all ATAs can use the default dial plan, as long as it is mapped to
the IP address of the PIB at each SID and the PIB is set for VoIP Proxy on channel
1. VoIP calls will be made at only SIDs 21 and 22 (and both call only SID 50), as SID
50 does not receive Speech from these panels.
(<:1@10.0.1.>[0-8]x<::5060>)
For Line 2 (WIP) the dial plan can use the default (mapped to the IP address of the
ATA), with the addition of a special number (90) at SIDs 21 and 22 to receive All-Call
from the PIB VoIP Proxy at SID 50. It doesn’t matter if this dial plan is also used at
SID 50, as the number 90 will never be dialled there.
(<:2@10.0.8.>[0-8]x<::5061> | <90:2@10.0.1.50:5061>)
The PIB at SID 50 needs to be configured for the VoIP Proxy function on channels 1
(PA / Speech) and 2 (WIP All Call) (channels 3 & 4 will be covered later). The URIs
need to map to the 1
st
ATA ports 1 and 2 at SID 50, and a codec of G711u is
selected to match the ATA default.
