How to fix a Vobx Telephone with nothing on the LCD display?

  If nothing is displayed on the LCD screen of your Vobx Telephone, or if the text/graphics appear malformed, first ensure the A/C adapter's power jack is securely connected to the phone and plugged into a working power outlet. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the power after 10 seconds. Also, pressing the ‘SPEAKER’ or ‘HEADSET’ button, or lifting the handset to check for a dial tone can help diagnose the issue. If you just tried to upgrade firmware and you see malformed text displayed on LCD display, contact your dealer for assistance. Ensure the phone is not in TV-OUT mode by pressing the key.

Also, verify the SIP settings to ensure the phone is correctly registered to the VoIP server and that the server is reachable. Contact your VoIP service provider and / or ISP to ask for service availability.

  If you cannot hear a dial tone on your Vobx Telephone, start by checking the cable connections between the IP phone and the handset, ensuring they are secure. If the connection seems fine, try replacing the cable with a new one to rule out a faulty cable. You can also try pressing the ‘SPEAKER’ button to see if you can hear the dial tone through the speaker. Also check the connection cable between handset and the phone. Try a higher volume setting.

Also, verify that the “video privacy” setting is set to “OFF.” If the image appears to be flashing, try adjusting the camera frequency.
