(7) You must have purchased the bike, and only used the bike, in the United
States. Unless otherwise agreed by Volcon in writing, Volcon will only ship the
bike (or any replacement Covered Components or batteries) to locations within
the United States. In the event Volcon agrees to ship the bike, or any
replacement Covered Components or batteries, to an international location,
such shipment(s) will be at your sole cost, risk, and expense.
(8) You must have used the bike only for your personal use, and must not have
used the bike for any commercial purposes or in connection with a rental
operation or program.
EXCLUSIONS – WHAT DOES THE LIMITED WARRANTY NOT COVER?
This Limited Warranty does NOT cover damage, defects, or other issues due to any of
the following (and Volcon will have no liability or responsibility arising out of or relating
to damage, defects, or other issues caused in whole or in part by any of the following):
(a) Normal wear and tear. (See wear and tear section for clarication).
(b) Abuse, neglect, misuse, or accident.
(c) Off-road or stunt riding, ramp jumping, acrobatics or similar activities, racing,
abusive treatment, or any activity that is not consistent with the intended use of
the bike.
(d) Improper charging of the battery or use of any charger not supplied by
Volcon or its authorized dealers.
(e) Paint damage or rust.
(f) Installation of third-party parts, accessories, or electrical and/or mechanical
parts.
(g) Modication of or tampering with any components.
(h) Improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives,
sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electromechanical, or other
electrical stress.
(i) External causes, such as natural disasters, res, oods, storms, lightning,
earthquakes, or harsh weather conditions.
(j) Lost or damaged keys.
(k) Actions that are inconsistent with any guidance or warnings set forth in any
manuals, quick start guides, product instructions or service manuals/bulletins
provided by Volcon or its authorized dealers.
(l) Use of the bike for any purpose other than the reasonable intended personal
use of the bike (see owner’s manual for additional information regarding
intended use).
(m) Your failure to comply with any assembly instructions, inspection intervals, or
instructions from Volcon.
(n) Power surges, use of an improper charger, water damage, improper
maintenance, or other misuse not classied as normal wear and tear
WEAR AND TEAR NOT COVERED BY LIMITED WARRANTY:
Some components of the bike are subject to wear based on their function. The extent of
wear depends on the care, maintenance, storage and the nature of use of the bike (such
as, but not limited to, mileage, climate, road conditions, etc.). Bikes that are often left
outside or in extreme elements can also be subject to premature wear due to weathering.
For safety, the parts must be replaced once they reach their wear limit.
