5.3 Tying Down and Transporting the Machine

Procedure
1. Make sure that the transport vehicle is capable of handling the weight
and size of the machine. For dimensions and operating weight, see
Technical Data on page 83.
2. Lock the front and rear halves of the machine using the articulated joint
locking bar(1).

3. Place chocks(2) in of front or behind each drum as shown.
4. Attach steel ropes or chains to the front and rear tie downs(3).
5. Attach the other end of the steel ropes or chains to the transport vehi-
cle.
