6.4 Accessing the Engine or Hydraulic Component Compartments
Procedure
1. To open, reach into the slot in the cover and press the latch release (1)
until the latch opens.

2. Raise hinged cover and place in the open position.
3. To close, position cover over the compartment, near the closed posi-
tion.
4. Being careful not to pinch fingers or hands, release cover and allow
weight of cover to engage latch.
6.5 Accessing the Control Compartment

Procedure
1. To open, pull up on both sides of the control compartment door (1).
2. To close, push the control compartment door down into the closed po-
sition until the door is secured.
6.6 Control Panel
The control panel is mounted to the dash under the back hood access cover
of the machine. It contains the following features:
