WhydoIgetapop-upprompt‘Failedtoconnecttothedevice…’?
This prompt only appeared in the case of using mulple cameras. Enter the Mul-Device
Sengs page (login as administrator) to check the Device seng is correct or not.
When one of the mulple cameras is disconnected, the color changes to yellow and this popup
appears.

1) AcveX controls may not be installed correctly (see FAQ ‘I have no picture / Problems
with AcveX Controller’).
2) The port used is blocked by Firewall or An-virus soware. Please check and try again.
3) Port mapping has not been successful. There are two possible soluons:
• Go to Administrator | UPnP Sengs. Check the box next to ‘Use UPnP to Map Port’, Click
Submit and ensure you see the ‘Success’ message.
• If your router has Virtual Map (Port Mapping) funcons enabled, enter router seng
page and manually add WatchBot’s IP and port to the Virtual Map list. (See Appendix)

Conrm the power supply is connected. Check the yellow light on the RJ45 Port (power
indicaon light) and the green light (network indicaon light) are both on or not.
Try temporarily disabling your Firewall/An-Virus. A rewall oen blocks unrecognised data.

Press RESET buon on the camera base for 5 seconds and then release, to restore the factory
default state, then try reconnecng. Note: You will lose all saved sengs.
