WhydoIgetapop-upprompt‘Failedtoconnecttothedevice…’?
This prompt only appeared in the case of using mulple cameras. Enter the Mul-Device
Sengs page (login as administrator) to check the Device seng is correct or not.
When one of the mulple cameras is disconnected, the color changes to yellow and this popup
appears.

1) AcveX controls may not be installed correctly (see FAQ ‘I have no picture / Problems
with AcveX Controller’).
2) The port used is blocked by Firewall or An-virus soware. Please check and try again.
3) Port mapping has not been successful. There are two possible soluons:
Go to Administrator | UPnP Sengs. Check the box next to ‘Use UPnP to Map Port, Click
Submit and ensure you see the ‘Success’ message.
If your router has Virtual Map (Port Mapping) funcons enabled, enter router seng
page and manually add WatchBots IP and port to the Virtual Map list. (See Appendix)

Conrm the power supply is connected. Check the yellow light on the RJ45 Port (power
indicaon light) and the green light (network indicaon light) are both on or not.
Try temporarily disabling your Firewall/An-Virus. A rewall oen blocks unrecognised data.
Unknownorunresolvableissues...
Press RESET buon on the camera base for 5 seconds and then release, to restore the factory
default state, then try reconnecng. Note: You will lose all saved sengs.
