Deactivate alarms
If the symbol appears in the status line, the physiological alarms V
T min
and
IPAP
min
have been deactivated by your doctor.
Note
For questions about deactivating/silencing the physiological alarms, please con-
sult your doctor.
Acknowledge alarms
If an alarm is triggered by a fault (in this case: discon-
nection alarm), press the alarm acknowledgement
switch . The acoustic alarm will pause for approx.
120 seconds.
Once the acoustic alarm has been acknowledged, the
standard display reappears. The fault which has not
yet been rectified continues to be displayed in the sta-
tus line and the yellow status indicator flashes (or is
illuminated) until the malfunction has been rectified.
If the fault is not rectified within 120 seconds of the ac-
knowledgement, the acoustic alarm (buzzer) sounds
again.
You will find assistance in rectifying faults in the tables
which follow.
