OPERATION / DESCRIPTION OF WEISS SOFTWARE | 8.3 Machine configuration
I/O configuration PROFIBUS
1. Select PROFIBUS interface
2. Select standard for interface compatibility and byte order in the telegram.
 The following description of the I/O configuration is valid for the interface compatibility standard. For EF1 com-
patibility mode see chapter 8.3.5.2 „EF1 compatible configuration“ on page 98.
3. Click the Next button.
➱ The window for I/O configuration - PROFIBUS settings is opened.
4. Enter the PROFIBUS DP address.
5. Choose the PROFIBUS baudrate.
6. Click the Next button.
➱ The window for I/O configuration - I/O mapping PROFIBUS telegram is opened.
 A default configuration can be used for the I/O mapping. Alternatively, the control commands can be assigned
to the inputs / outputs manually.
