Registering Watch Expert
Registering the Watch Expert
T
o access Witschi Service and the most up-to-date
firmware release, register your Watch Expert at the
following address:
http://www.witschi.com “Support” “Create account”
After successful registration, the most up-to-date
firmware can be accessed under
“Firmware”
“Product overview”.
9.2 Updating firmware
The pilot microphone is connected to the W
atch Expert.
1. The file “Update_WE4.zip” is downloaded from the Witschi
Support page onto an empty USB stick.
2. Unpack “Update_WE4.zip”.
3. Run the file “Update_xxx.exe”.
ð
The files and directories are created on the USB stick.

f the Watch Expert.
5. Insert the USB stick into the USB port on the reverse side of
the W
atch Expert.
6. Switch on the W
atch Expert.

The boot-up is started. Once the boot-up is complete, the
“Update Window” appears
7. T
o start the update, press the “Update” button. The process
lasts approx. 3 minutes.
NOTICE!
Potential damage and loss of data!
Switching of
f or disconnecting the power
supply can cause irreparable damage to the
Watch Expert or result in loss of data.
– Never switch off the Watch Expert during
an update.
– Never remove the Watch Expert from the
power supply during an update.
