3.6 Install the Blade
WARNING! Wear gloves and eye protection when handling bandsaw
blades. Failure to follow this may result in serious injury.
WARNING! Keep all other persons away from area when coiling, car-
rying, or changing a blade. Changing blades is safest when done by
one person. Failure to follow this may result in serious injury.
1. Watch the video on sawmill blades before removing the blade from the box.
NOTE: Do not remove the blade from the shipping box at this time.

3. Open the blade housing cover.
4. Turn the blade tension bar with the ratchet until the blade wheel is moved in.
DANGER! COILED BLADES ARE UNDER SPRING TENSION. KNOW
PROPER BLADE HANDLING BEFORE UNPACKING YOUR BLADE.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS WILL RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
