External oil filter:
4Remove the paper element from the external
oil filter and replace it. If the filter contains a
washable element, thoroughly clean in
kerosene and reassemble into the filter.
Clean the boiler:
Manifold access:
4Remove top cover by releasing the
screws at each corner and lift free.
14 Pull the control box (A) all the way
forwards.
4 Depess the two levers (B), one on either
side, to release the control box and pull
fully forward and swivel control box
upwards.
24 Release screws (C) to remove the flue
manifold access cover (D) and clear any
debris.
4 Check the flue system and clean if
necessary.
4 Remove the baffle retainer (E) and baffles ( G )
from the secondary heat exchanger.
4 Check and clean the secondary heat
exchanger surfaces.
NOTE: Do not use wire brushes and
cleaning agents to clean the stainless
steel secondary heat exchanger
components.
4Check the condensate route (H) is clear.
4The condensate trap ( J ) should be removed
and checked for debris.
4Release the pipe locking tab (K) and
disconnect the flexible pipe ( L ) from the top
of the trap and move the flexible pipe up
away from the trap.
4 Release the trap locking tab (M) and move
the trap up and back to remove from its
mountings.
4Clean the trap by flushing with water.
4Check the O ring seals and replace if
necessary, grease the seals with a solvent
free grease.
4Refit the trap making sure that the locking
tabs are locked in place.
4Pour 500ml of water into drain (H) to refill
the condensate trap and check that the
condensate discharge pipe is discharging.
4Clean the secondary heat exchanger baffles
(G) if necessary and refit correctly.
4 Refit the baffle retainer (E).
4Check the seal on the manifold access cover
(O) and replace if necessary.
4Refit the flue manifold access cover (D)
and secure with screws (C).
