GP 8 Packaging and Transport of the Machine
When you need to transport the machine, always use the original packing material. If you do not
pack the machine correctly, you risk invalidating the warranty.
1. Set the power switch of the machine to “O” (Off).
2. Disconnect the power cord from the wall socket, then disconnect all cables connected to the
machine. Remove all the document and paper trays, including the paper tray. If your machine
has the optional second paper tray installed, remove it and keep it.
3. Pack the document and paper trays in their original plastic bags and packing boxes. Pack the
machine in its original styrofoam and place it in the original packing box together with the
accessories (trays, documentation, etc.).
4. Seal the packing box with adhesive tape.
