Initializing and Erasing the Memories
First set the installation parameter Configuration bit 8 to 1.
• Reset to default configuration (factory configuration) of all parameters (user and installer(or
technical)):
CAUTION
This procedure will erase the network enablement option. If this is done on a network enabled
machine, a new network option will have to be purchased.
• Erase directory:
• Erase logs:
• Erase printer counters:
• Erase consumables counters using menu 85:
CAUTION
This procedure will erase options GDF, FSI and kit LAN.
Note: To see the initialization message, switch the machine off, then on.
• Re-initialize the flash memory data (complete erase): open the scanner cover, then:
• Erase mailboxes (internal) only:
