CRUM Overview
- Stands for “Customer Replaceable Unit Monitor”
- EEPROM is used for CRUM Memory.
- CRUM stores various information on consumables
(including consumables’ life).
- In Phaser 6110 MFP total five CRUM’s are used
(four on toner cartridges and one on transfer belt)
CRUM stores the following information
Model Name
Supplier ID
Serial Number
Company ID
MFG Date
Capacity
Page Count
- Toner Cartridge and Transfer Belt
- Indicates how many pages are printed by using the consumable
Dot Count
- Toner Cartridge Only
- Indicates how many dots are printed by using the toner cartridge
FW Upgrade
Via USB or Network (SWS/SWAS)
You can upgrade F/W via USB or Network whenever the printer is “Ready”
Via Using F/W Download Mode :
Step 1) Power on while pressing the Online Key
Step 2) Press Online Key one more time if “Press Key Again” is displayed on LCD
Step 3) Download F/W via USB
