File Name Conflict
To resolve a file-name conflict:
1. On the Filing Options tab, touch FFiillee NNaammee CCoonnfflliicctt.
2. Select the appropriate option:
• DDoo NNoott SSaavvee: This option cancels the scan operation so that you can enter another file name.
• RReennaammee NNeeww FFiillee: This option attaches a 4-digit number (0000–9999) to the end of the duplicate file
name, then saves the file in the same directory.
• OOvveerrwwrriittee EExxiissttiinngg FFiillee: This option deletes the existing file with the duplicate file name, then saves the
new file with the specified file name in the same directory.
3. Touch SSaavvee.

File Name
You can enter and save a file name.
1. At the control panel, on the Email Options tab, touch FFiillee NNaammee.
2. In the text box, type a file name.
3. Touch SSaavvee.
File Format
You can select a file format for scanned data.
1. At the control panel, on the Email Options tab, touch FFiillee FFoorrmmaatt.
