Optimised permanent recording
This method can be combined with external sensors to optimise storage capacity. In this case ipVG only
records in the event of the respective control input being activated or in the event of IntrusionTrace detecting
motion.
Both control inputs at the 28 pin terminal block are permanently assigned to a particular camera. Four input
states can be used and configured for control.
Continuous recording and permanent contact
The opened and closed states are used to control permanent recording. The logical state Open corresponds to
an unswitched control input, and Closed to a grounded contact. Different recording speeds can be defined for
both states.

Continuous recording and edge trigger
Permanent recording can be influenced by defining a certain edge. A normally closed contact produces a
positive edge upon opening (from low to high, Edge +) while a normally open contact produces a negative
