If your Xylem Water Pump motor isn't running, it might be due to several reasons. First, the motor thermal protector may have tripped; in this case, allow the motor to cool down, and the protector will automatically reset. Alternatively, there might be an open circuit breaker or a blown fuse, power cable insulation damage or a faulty power cable splice, which requires inspection and repair by a qualified electrician. Also, check if the power source is adequate for the load and verify the supply or generator capacity.
