Removing the ECU (ABS) and fail-
safe relay (XP500A)
Remove the parts in the order listed.
Front cowling Refer to “COVER AND PANEL” in chap-
ter 3.
1 Fail-safe relay coupler 1 Disconnect.
2 Fail-safe relay 1
3 Upper ECU (ABS) bracket 1
4 ECU (ABS) coupler 2 Disconnect.
5 ECU (ABS) 1
For installation, reverse the removal pro-
cedure.
