2-3. How to set the batteries
Turn the knobs for locking the battery cover, located behind the indication unit. There are two
knobs on the right and left.
Pull the battery cover from the upper side toward you, which opens the battery cover.
You can see four size-D batteries. Replace those batteries.
[Note 1] Upon replacement, replace all four batteries to new ones at a time. Any mixture of an
old battery may cause the battery to leak or significantly reduce the life of the
batteries.
[Note 2] Do not mix different types of batteries (e.g. manganese battery with alkaline battery).
2-4. How to set the AC adaptor (option)
Firmly insert the plug for AC adaptor into the jack located in the lower back of the indication unit.
Open the battery case. You can see four size-D batteries. Remove those batteries.
[Note 1] Be sure to use the dedicated AC adaptor. If you use a different adaptor, the
instrument may break down.
[Note 2] The system is not waterproof when the AC adaptor is used.
[Note 3] The AC adaptor and batteries cannot be used at the same time. Be sure to
remove all batteries before using the AC adaptor.
