2.2.8 Reference Pulse Inhibit Function (INHIBIT)
The reference pulse inhibit function inhibits a Servopack for position control from counting
input reference pulses.
While this function is being used, the motor remains in Servo locked (clamped) status. The
/P-CON signal is used to enable or prohibit this function.
When this function is used, therefore, the /P-CON signal cannot be used to switch between
proportion (P) control and proportional/integral (PI) control for speed loop. (PI control is al-
ways used.)

Note
Use Cn-01 bit F to enable/disable the INHIBIT function.
Using Reference Pulse Inhibit Function (INHIBIT)
To use the INHIBIT function, set the memory switch Cn-01 bit F to 1:

Setting Meaning
0
Does not use the INHIBIT function.
Reference pulses are always counted.
Uses the INHIBIT function.
/P-CON signal is used to enable or prohibit the INHIBIT function.
/P-CON Meaning

OFF
Counts reference pulses.

ON
Prohibits the Servopack from counting reference
pulses.
The motor remains in Servo locked (clamped) status.
