BLEEDING THE FUEL SYSTEM
Before bleeding place a suitable
container under the engine to col-
lect dripping fuel from the filter
and injection pump.
1. Prime the fuel system with several strokes of the manual control of the priming
pump (1).
2. Release the screw (2) of the fitting of the fuel inlet to the filter and let the foam es-
cape.
3. Retighten the screw and repeat the procedure until after releasing of the screw
clear fuel starts to continuously flow from the filter.
4. Bleed the injection pump in the same way.
5. Do the bleeding with the screw (3) positioned on the pump body.
