• Vertebrogenic pain syndrome, e.g. cervical syndrome
• Ankylosing spondylitis (only during the inflammation-free interval)
• Joint diseases
• Rheumatoid arthritis (if heat treatment is indicated)
• Osteoarthritis
• Periarthropathy
• Epicondylopathy
• Chronic tendinitis, periostitis, heel spur
• Achillodynia
• Scars, contractures, Dupuytren's contracture
• Posttraumatic discomfort
• Fractures (especially with delayed callus formation)
Other indications
• Bronchial asthma
• Rhinopathy
• Persistent discomfort of the cervical spine following whiplash with repetitive blockages
• Headaches
• Earaches
• Postherpetic neuralgia
