Diagnostic
29.1 Overview
You can use different diagnostic methods to test a connection and see the detailed information. These
read-only screens display information to help you identify problems with the Zyxel Device.
29.1.1 What You Can Do in this Chapter
• The Ping & TraceRoute & NsLookup screen lets you identify problems with the DSL connection. You
can use Ping, TraceRoute, or Nslookup to help you identify problems.(Section 29.2 on page 221).
• The OAM Ping Test screen lets you send an ATM OAM (Operation, Administration and Maintenance)
packet to verify the connectivity of a specific PVC. (Section 29.3 on page 222).
29.2 The Ping & TraceRoute & NsLookup Screen
Use this screen to ping, traceroute, or nslookup an IP address. Click Maintenance > Diagnostic to open
the Ping & TraceRoute & NsLookup screen shown next.
