Setting the MAC Information queue length to 0 indicates that the device sends a Syslog or Trap
message to the network management device as soon as a new MAC address is learned or an existing
MAC address is deleted.

Network requirements
z Host A is connected to a remote server (Server) through Device.
z Enable MAC Information on GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 on Device. Device sends MAC address change
information using Syslog messages to Host B through GigabitEthernet 1/0/3. Host B analyzes and
displays the Syslog messages.

Configuration procedure
1) Configure Device to send Syslog messages to Host B.
Refer to Information Center Configuration in the System Volume for details.
2) Enable MAC Information.
# Enable MAC Information on Device.

# Configure MAC Information mode as Syslog.
