8.9.7.2 Architecture using the SIP Proxy of NeXspan IPS card
The default network parameters of the IPS card are:
These parameters allow a connection via a WEB browser: http://192.168.65.2.
To modify the network parameter:
• Go to ‘Configurations’, then ‘Network configuration’
• Then click ‘Confirm’ and wait for the confirmation window to open.
• Click ‘Apply’ if the values displayed are correct.
Viewing the IPS software releases:
To view the boot release (the boot is updated using a BOF3 card)
• Go to ‘Release‘, then to ‘Boot Flash Eprom’.
To view the software release of the CompactFlash card
• Go to ‘Release’, then to ‘CompactFlash Image’.
This release identifies the entire Operating System and SIP access point application.
To view the software release of the SIP access point application:
• Go to ‘Release’ then to ‘SIP Access Point’.
The SIP Proxy application is updated while the CompactFlash card image is being reloaded.

update the compactFlash card software release, refer to the "Installation and Operating Manual for
SIP access point, NAT/SBC and TFTP services", with reference number AMT/PTD/PBX/0064*.
