9.12.7 Configuring the SIP access point
9.12.7.1 Architecture using the SIP access point in NCS
The SIP Proxy is installed as a service in NCS. This service must be set to automatic mode.
It is necessary to change the default configuration of the SIP access point, especially if:
• The SIP phones and/or the SIP trunk are declared on a remote PBX and not on NCS, the SIP
access point must be connected to this remote PBX.
• NCS is fitted with several network cards, the SIP access point is declared on the IP address of
the network card that will reach the SIP phones.
The SIP access point configuration is located in the file gsi.ini (by default in C:\program files\call
server\call manager\gsi).
Example:
# PBX parameter 4 IP addresses possible.
#
adr1_pbx=192.168.65.1 # @IP du PABX
#adr2_pbx=127.0.0.1
#adr3_pbx=127.0.0.1
#adr4_pbx=127.0.0.1
#
#
# GSI address for a configuration with two network cards
gsi_addr=192.168.65.249 # @ Proxy SIP configured in the phones
#
