3 REFERENCES
3.1 Training
An overview of the sets in the M7xx and i7xx ranges is given during classical or IP environment
telephony training sessions.
Please refer to the catalogue for the training programs available.
3.2 European approvals
The sets are compliant with the main European requirements regarding EMC and safety
standards.
3.3 Set identification
A unique software serial number is registered in the internal memory of each set.
In addition, the i7xx sets store a unique MAC address.
3.3.1 Set labels
A label, located on the underside of the sets, contains the certificate for several countries (same
channel). This complies with the prevailing standards in Europe. It contains the following
information:
Manufacturer name
Conformity marking: EC
Year of manufacture
The indication "Made in France"
Product description and colour: M7xx for digital sets or i7xx for IP sets, followed by Anthracite
blue or Glacier white (in full + barcode)
Product code with technical index (in full + barcode)
Gencode (in full + barcode)
On i7xx sets, an additional label specifies the set's MAC address in full or barcode.
3.3.2 Package labels
The package label contains the following information:
Manufacturer name
Conformity marking: EC + recycling logo + fragile logo
Product description and colour: M7xx for digital sets or i7xx for IP sets, followed by Anthracite
blue or Glacier white (in full + barcode)
Product code with technical index (in full + barcode)
Date of manufacture: year/week (in full + barcode)
The indication "Made in France"
The quantity per package: 1
