9 SIP PHONES 51i, 53i, 55i AND 57i
SIP phones 51i, 53i, 55i and 57i are used for telephone calls on an IP network, using the SIP
signalling protocol. They are managed from PBX release 4.2 G2JD.
From release 2.1.2.2005 of the firmware, AASTRA SIP phones 51i, 53i, 55i and 57i are compatible
with NeXspan R4.2 solution:
• NeXspan XC, XS, XL, XD G.2J ed E and later (official release)
• NeXspan Call Server G.2J ed E and later (official release)
• NeXspan 500 G.2J ed D and later (official release)
• NeXspan 50 G.2J ed D and later (official release)
Caution : The compatibility of AASTRA SIP phones with other PBX platforms cannot be
guaranteed by AASTRA MATRA and must be checked by our partners. The target PBX
platform must be compatible with RFC 3261 for the SIP protocol.
