12 INSTALLATION RULES
No special tools are required to install the set. The cords are supplied not connected.
12.1 Connections
For the connector positions, refer to the user guides and quick reference guides for each set.
12.1.1 M7xx digital set range
All the cords can be disconnected at both ends.
• RJ9 handset connector,
• RJ9 headset connector, except for M720 and M730,
• RJ11 line connector.
• Mains power unit connector for the M780 (RJ45) (also used to connect the extension for M760,
M760E and M780 sets).
12.1.2 i7xx set range
All the cords can be disconnected at both ends.
• RJ9 handset connector,
• RJ9 headset connector,
• RJ45 LAN connector,
• RJ45 PC connector,
• RJ11 mains power unit connector.
There is also the RJ45 extension connector for i760 and i780 sets.
Nota : Do not use the line connector when connecting to the IP network. It is covered
by a label.
