10.2.2.6 Inserting the MEM card
If the MEM card is provided separately, you must insert it in the storage battery
compartment.
Safety instruction!
Handle the MEM card with precaution. The connectors must be free of dust, humidity, grease, etc.
Do not store the MEM card in hot environments (for example in full sun). Do not bend the MEM
card; this may damage the connectors.
10.2.2.7 Removing the MEM card
You should only remove the MEM card if you wish to give away the handset or use the MEM card
for a new handset.
• Start by removing the MEM card from its frame,
by pressing it with your finger.
• Place the MEM card under the metal clips (grey
in the illustration), connectors towards the bottom
and the marked edges to the back. Make sure the
MEM card is slotted in properly. In correct position,
it is flat in its housing with the two stops preventing
any sliding. Never touch the golden connectors!
Static shocks may prevent the device from working
correctly.
• After removing the battery compartment cover:
remove the MEM card from under the cover using a
pointed object (such as an unfolded paper clip) that you
introduce in the rear part of the metal staple clips. Do not
touch the connectors located under the metal clips and
on the MEM card.
