REFUELLINGTHE
CAR
Stop the engine before refuelling.
Only refuel with unleaded petrol with
octane rating (RON) not less than 95,
in compliance withthe European
specification EN228.
WARNING An inefficient catalytic
converter leads toharmful exhaust
emissions, thus contributing to air
pollution.
WARNING Neverintroduce leaded
petrol to the tank,even in small
amounts in an emergency, as this
would damage thecatalytic converter
beyond repair.
REFUELLINGCAPACITY
To ensure that you fill the tank
completely, top uptwice after the first
click of the fuel supply gun. Further
top-ups could cause faults in the fuel
feeding system.
FUELTANKCAP
Cap (2) fig. 101 is fitted with a cable
that secures it to flap (1) so that it
cannot be lost.

Unscrew cap (2) using the ignition
key. The sealing may cause a slight
pressure increasein the tank. A little
breathing off, while slackening the cap
is absolutely normal. When refuelling,
fasten the plug to the device inside the
flap as shown in fig.101.
