WARNING When putting the back seat
to its normal position, make sure the
seat belts are positioned so they are
ready to use.

violent impact the rear seat passengers
not wearing seat belts are exposed to
a very serious riskand also represent
a serious danger forthe front seat
occupants.
SBRSYSTEM(Seat
BeltReminder)
The SBR systemwarns the
passengers of thefront and rear (for
versions/markets,where provided)
seats if their seatbelt is not fastened.
The system indicates that seat belts
are unfastened with visual warnings
(warning lights on inthe instrument
panel and icons on the display) and/or
an acoustic warning (see the following
paragraphs).
NOTE Contact anAbarth Dealership
to deactivate thisacoustic warning
permanently. Theacoustic warning can
be reactivated at any time through the
display Setup Menu.

When the ignition device is turned to
MAR, the
warning light ((1) fig. 70
for the TFT panel or (1) fig. 71 for the
TFT Sport panel) comes on for a few
seconds, regardless of the status of the
front seat belts.
With car moving slower than 20 km/h,
if the driver side seat belt or the
passenger side seat belt (with
occupant seated)is unfastened, the
warning light
stays on constantly.
As soon as a speed threshold of
20 km/h is reached, with driver side
seat belt or the passenger side seat
belt (with occupantseated) unfastened,
an acoustic warning is activated
simultaneously withwarning light
flashing for about 105 seconds.
Once activated, this indication cycle
stays active for the entire time if the
car is moving faster than 8 km/h or if
reverse gear is not engaged or until the
seat belts are fastened.
If the car speed drops to less than 8
km/h or if reversegear is engaged
during the warningcycle, the tone
will be interrupted and the warning
light
switches on fixed.If the entire
time has not elapsed and reverse gear
is not engaged, the warning cycle is
reactivated as soon as the car speed
exceeds 20 km/hagain.
