The
warning light on the
instrument panel switches on when the
stalk is pulled for the first time and
stays lit until the function switches off
automatically.
Deactivation
The function is deactivated by turning
the headlights or the side lights on,
or by pulling the leftlever towards the
steering wheel (unstable position) for
more than 2 seconds, or by turning the
ignition device to MAR.

Dusksensor
This is an infrared LED sensor
that works in conjunction with the
rain sensor and islocated on the
windscreen. It is able to detect
variations in outsidelighting based on
the light sensitivityset in the display
Menu or the
Uconnect 5" or 7" HD
system (where provided).
Functionactivation
Turn the left stalk ring (A) fig. 24 to the
AUTOposition.
WARNING The function can only be
activated with theignition device at
MAR.

FOGLIGHTS/REARFOG
LIGHTS
(where provided)
The fog lights can be activated only
when the dipped beam headlights are
on.

To turn on the front/rear fog lights, use
button (1) fig. 25 asfollows:
firstpressing: front fog lights on;
second press: rear fog lights on;
thirdpress: front/rear fog lights off.
With front fog lights on, the
warning
light on the instrument panel will come
on at the same time.
With rear fog lights on, the
warning
light on the instrument panel will come
on at the same time.
REARFOGLIGHTS
When the dipped beam headlights are
on, these can beactivated by pressing
button (2)
fig. 25.
With lights on, the warning light
on
the instrument panel will come on at
the same time.
Press the button again to switch the
lights off.
LIGHTBEAMDIRECTION
The correct aimingof the headlights is
important for the comfort and safety
of not only the driver but all other road
users.
This is also covered by a specific rule of
the highway code.
The headlights must be correctly
aimed to guarantee the best visibility
conditions for all drivers while travelling
with headlights on.
