Start-up, control with I/O and ID Run
POWER-UP
Apply input power.
Select MENU to enter the main menu.
Select ASSISTANTS with keys / and select ENTER.
Scroll to START-UP ASSISTANT with keys / .
SELECTING THE LANGUAGE
The display then asks you to select the language. Scroll to the
desired language with keys / and press to accept.
If you press , the Start-up Assistant is stopped.
STARTING THE GUIDED SET-UP
The Start-up Assistant now guides you through the set-up tasks,
starting with the motor set-up. Set the motor data to exactly the
same value as on the motor nameplate.
Scroll to the desired parameter value with keys / and
press to accept and continue with the Start-up Assistant.
Note: At any time, if you press , the Start-up Assistant is
stopped and the display goes to the Output mode.
After completing a set-up task, the Start-up Assistant defaults to
application macro PID control.
Press (when
is highlighted) to continue with the
suggested task.
Press key
to highlight and then press to move to
the following task without doing the suggested task.
Press to stop the Start-up Assistant.
SAVING A USER PARAMETER SET AND FINAL CHECK
The start-up is now completed. However, it might be useful at this
stage to set the parameters required by your application and save
the settings as a user parameter set as instructed in section User
parameter sets on page 66.
After the whole set-up is completed, check there are no faults or
alarms shown on the display and the panel LED is green and does
not blink.
The drive is now ready for use.
