5.8 Power Connections
5.8.2 Mains Power Connection
General This procedure describes how to connect the robot to the factory mains power.
WARNING! Before starting to connect the mains, make sure that the other end of the
cable is disconnected from the line voltage.

Procedure 1. Check on transformer terminals that the transformer is wired for correct voltage
as noted in the ‘Documents on Delivery’ folder. If not correct, rewire
transformer as described in ’Transformer Wiring’ on page 117.
2. Check that the mains overload protection is set to correct current in accordance
with supply voltage as shown below.
3. Make sure that the mains switch is ‘off’. Remove mains fuses for robot supply.
WARNING! Make sure that mains fuses are removed before continuing.
4. Route mains power cable as shown in Figure 59. Dismantle cable and install
cable clamp. For location of power connection, see ’Controller Connections
