4 Configurations
4.1 General This part describes type solutions for connection to other application
functions. All functions are described in separate chapters. A standard
configuration for a single-breaker bay with double busbars including five
high-voltage apparatus can be found in “Default configuration REC 561”
1MRK 580 188-XEN. Fig. 12 shows an overview of a circuit breaker
module that includes breaker-related optional functions. Note that the OR
gates for the open and close signals must have the same execution cyclic-
ity as related protection function, that is, the breaker failure protection and
autoreclosing functions.
