HART Primary Tab

The HART Primary Tab is only shown in Engineering mode. Here you select
through which unit HART communication should happen.
The HART Primary unit can be, but does not have to be, identical with the unit
treated as primary by CI840 seen in Service Control in Commissioning mode. If the
HART Primary module fails, HART communication does not switch over
automatically to the other unit. The user must manually do the switchover.
