Obstacle Display
SVN shares the same obstacle
database as the top-down map page.
Obstacles are shown at their proper
height above ground and at their
bases are drawn at half of their height.
There are several exclusions users
will want to be aware of:
- Obstacles beyond 18nm are not shown
- Obstacles less than 1000ft AGL are not shown beyond 6nm
- Obstacles more than 2,000ft AGL below the aircraft are not shown
RED: Aircraft is within 100ft AGL of top of tower
YELLOW: Aircraft is within 600ft AGL of top of tower
GRAY: Aircraft is within 2000ft AGL of top of tower.
