a. Remove some of the
tested cassettes from
the right cassette deck.
b. At “Press START
to Continue”, press
START to resume test-
ing.
A cassette must be in
proper position in the left
cassette deck to begin
testing or calibration (see
figure 5 and Chapter 2).
Place a loaded cassette
in proper position in the
left cassette deck before
pressing START to begin
testing or calibration (see
figure 5 and Chapter 2).

Visually check for a
cassette in the wrong
position or other visible
mechanical cause.
Check for a sample tube
in the wrong place, possi-
bly in the operating head
or freezing chamber.
Review procedure and
retry the test.
Remove misplaced tube,
check the probe and stir/
freeze wire alignment and
retry the test.
If the error message per-
sists, see Chapter 5, Section
C for further assistance.
Check whether further
testing is being impeded
by too many tested cas-
settes remaining in the
right (output) cassette
deck.
a. Clear the cause of the
problem, if visible,
and properly re-align
all remaining cassettes
before continuing.
b. Press STOP to reset the
instrument.
c. Press START to con-
tinue testing. If the
problem persists, see
Chapter 4, Section B
for further assistance.
