somesimplewiringguidelines,andperhapsmakeuseofsomeaccessoriesinanticipating
impactsonperformance.
Specifications Check
BeforeselectinganAZanalogservodrive,ausershouldconsidertherequirementsoftheir
system.Thisinvolvescalculatingtherequiredvoltage,current,torque,andpower
requirementsofthesystem,aswellasconsideringtheoperatingenvironmentandanyother
equipmentthedrivewillbeinterfacingwith.BeforeattemptingtoinstalloroperateanAZ
servodrive,besureallthefollowingitemsareavailable:

• AZServoDriveDatasheet(specifictoyourmodel)
• AZSeriesAnalogHardwareInstallationManual
AZ servo drives are shipped with no oth
er connectors or mounting
components other than the signal and power header pins on the drive
PCB itself. However, mounting cards and mating connectors are readily
available. See “Mounting Card” on page 23 for the ADVANC
ED Motion
Controls AZ mounting card. Customized mounting optio
ns are also
available for orders with sufficient volume.
