Motor Specifications
AZanalogservodriveshaveagivencurrentandvoltageratinguniquetoeachdrive.Basedon
thenecessaryapplicationrequirementsandtheinformationfromthedatasheetofthemotor
beingused,anAZdrivemaybeselectedthatwillbestsuitthemotorcapabilities.Somegeneral
guidelinesthatareusefulwhenpairinganAZservodrivewithamotor:

• ThemotorinductanceisvitaltotheoperationofAZservodrives,asitensuresthattheDC
motorcurrentisproperlyfiltered.
A motor that does not meet the rated minimum inductance
value of the
AZ drive may damage the drive! If the motor inductance value is less
than the minimum required for the selected drive, use of an external filter
card is necessary.
AminimummotorinductanceratingforeachspecificAZdrivecan
befoundinthe
datasheet.Ifthedriveisoperatedbelowthemaximumratedvoltage,theminimumload
inductancerequirementmaybereduced.
