Troubleshooting the Analyzer
To troubleshoot the power supply
9 Isolate assembly loading power supply.
a Set the power switch to off ( O ) and disconnect the power cord
from the rear panel.
b Wait five minutes to allow time for the power supply capacitors to
discharge.
c Disconnect A95 P360 pins 2 and 3.
d Reconnect all the cables to the A95 Main Power Supply assembly.
e Reinstall the A95 Main Power Supply assembly in the analyzer.
f Replace the black power supply shield and bottom cover.
g Repeat the following steps for each assembly suspected of loading
the power supply.
Use the Power Supply Voltage Distribution table on page 6- and
the A90/A91 Motherboard Voltages table on page 6- to help isolate
the failing assembly.
h Set the power switch to off ( O ).
i Remove the suspected assembly or the power cable to the
assembly.
j Set the power switch to on ( l ).
k Check the voltages in the table on page 1-21.
