To adjust input flatness
This procedure adjusts the A10 Analog Input assembly’s first and second
20 dB attenuators to improve input assembly flatness.
Equipment Required:
Network analyzer
Extender board, Agilent part number 89410-B1001
BNC cable
SMB(f)-to-BNC(m) cable
(2) N(m)-to-BNC(f) adapters
Flat-edge adjustment tool, Agilent part number 8710-1928
1 Place the A10 Analog Input assembly on an extender board.
c Set the power switch to off ( O ).
d Remove screws holding the A10 Analog Input assembly in the card
nest.
e Place the assembly on an extender board.
f Set the power switch to on ( l ).
2 Set up the Agilent 89410A.
