The Agilent Cary 630 FTIR is a small, mid-infrared spectrometer
designed to provide the capabilities of much larger, traditional FTIR
spectrometers, but without the complexity, maintenance requirements
or cost. The main optical unit dimensions are only 16 x 22 x
13 centimeters (6.3 x 8.7 x 5.1 in) and it weighs only 2.9 kilograms
(6.3 lb). The Cary 630 FTIR provides versatility for use in a traditional
analytical chemistry laboratory. The system is intended for indoor use
and is not designed for water-resistance or other extreme outdoor
conditions

The Cary 630 FTIR systems are NOT intrinsically safe. Use the system only in
atmospheres that have been tested for flammable materials. If the equipment
is used in a manner not specified in this guide, the protection provided by the
equipment may be impaired.
