When in the sample analysis mode, the DialPath pathlength is set to a 
predetermined factory-set value in microns. The alignment of the 
accessory is also pre-set at the factory and so there is no adjustment 
required. 
Cleaning 
To clean the DialPath sampling windows in preparation for 
analysis: 
1  Rotate the DialPath so that optical window Position 2 is pointing 
upward (see Figure 13).  
2  Clean the window of the position last used for analysis, using a 
cotton swab dipped in acetone (see Figure 15, which shows 
cleaning Position 3). 
3  Clean the bottom sample mounting area (see Figure 15). 
4  If using Position 2, clean either Position 3 or 1, depending on the 
direction the DialPath was rotated.

Use only soft cotton cloth, such as cotton swabs or a suitable substitute to clean 
the optical windows and sample mounting area.
