Error Messages
When all the errors have been read from the queue, further error queries will return:
0,No error
The SCPI query SYSTem:ERRor? is used to view messages in the SCPI error queue. The error queue will
be cleared when any of the following occur (IEEE 488.2, section 11.4.3.4):
• Upon power up
• Upon receipt of a *CLS command
•
Upon reading the last item from the queue
In the SCPI error queue, the permanent errors are re-reported after the message
0, No error is read
using the
SYSTem:ERRor? query and after the *CLS command is executed.
