Installation
Liquid Line
If the system is congured with the EasiCool higher than the condenser unit it may be required to increase the degree
of sub cooling to prevent ashing gas occurring in the liquid line. This ashing is due to excess pressure drop caused by
the static head of liquid refrigerant and can results in poor operation of the evaporator and expansion device.
Careful pipe sizing is recommended to ensure that the liquid line does not have excessive pressure drop
Increasing the liquid line tube size can minimise pipe pressure drop.
However as a fail safe it is recommended that the condenser is installed above the indoor unit to allow for correct liquid
drain.
Pipe Insulation
The liquid line of the system must be insulated if passing through extremely warm places (boiler houses etc). Ensuring
that the refrigerant does not become ash gas.
