Octave Function (OCT button)
By setting the [OCT] button to the Octave function
and pressing the [OCT] button, you can use the Oc-
tave function to add a note one octave lower that you
are currently playing.
Setting the Octave function to OCT button
1. Press the [SETUP] button.
While pressing the [SETUP] button, “Ad” is
shown on the program/Data display.
2. While pressing the [SETUP] button, select “Oc” (Oc-
tave) by pressing the [HOLD] button.
It allows you to select the setup parameter by pressing the [HOLD] or the [OCT]
button while pressing the [SETUP] button.
3. After selecting “Oc”, release the [SETUP] button.
The Program/Data display shows “OF”. This means that
the Octave function is set to OFF (not active).
4. Select the “on” (ON) by pressing the [HOLD] button or the [OCT] button.
If “on” is selected, the Octave function is set to ON (Active)
5. Press the [SETUP] button.
The EWI4000s returns to the “PLAY” mode.
Now the [OCT] button is set to the Octave function.
6. Press the [OCT] button.
The Octave function is ON when the OCT LED is lit. Press the [OCT] button again,
and then the Octave function is Off with the OCT LED off.
