Changing the Vibrato Sensor output to another MIDI event
As the Vibrato sensor information is mixed with the Pitch Bend information, you can
get a Vibrato effect of changing the pitch by biting the Vibrato sensor. By mixing the
Vibrato sensor information with the Breath sensor information, you can get the Vi-
brato effect of changing the volume and/or sound character.
1. Press the [SETUP] button.
While pressing the [SETUP] button, “Ad” is shown on the
Program/Data display.
2. While pressing the [SETUP] button, se-
lect “vS” (Vibrato Sensor) by pressing the
[HOLD] button.
It allows you to select the setup
parameter by pressing the
[HOLD] button or the [OCT] button while
pressing the [SETUP] button.
3. After selecting “vS”, release the [SETUP] button.
“Pb” is shown on the Program/Data display.
Pb will mix the Vibrato sensor information to the Pitch Bend information.
bo will mix the vibrato sensor information to the Breath Sensor information.
4.
Select the “Pb” or “bo” by pressing the [HOLD] button or
the [OCT] button, and then press the [TRANS] button.
By pressing the [TRANS] button, you can select whether the
MIDI event will be transmitted or not. If you select to trans-
mit the MIDI event, the LED “dot” on the Program/Data display will light up.
5. Press the [SETUP] button.
The EWI4000s returns to the “PLAY” mode.
Note:If you press any button except the [SETUP], [TRANS], [HOLD], and [OCT] button,
your setting MIDI event is ignored and it returns to the original setting.
